Bank BPD DIY didirikan pada tahun 1961, tanggal 15 Desember berdasarkan akta notaris No 11, Notaris RM Soerjanto Partaningrat. Sebagai perusahaan daerah, pertama kalinya Bank BPD DIY diatur dengan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 3 Tahun 1976. Seiring waktu, dilakukan berbagai penyesuaian.
Saat ini, dasar hukum untuk pendirian Bank BPD DIY adalah Peraturan Daerah Propinsi Daerah Khusus Yogyakarta Nomor 2 Tahun 1993, Peraturan Daerah junctis Nomor 11 Tahun 1997 dan No 7 Tahun 2000. Tujuannya adalah pembentukan bank untuk membantu meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan daerah di segala bidang serta sebagai sumber pendapatan daerah dalam rangka meningkatkan standar hidup rakyat.

* Married / Not Married
* Age Maximum 30 Years on August 31, 2011, as evidenced by the Certificate / Birth Letter from the authorities.
2. Minimum bachelor degree (S1), with a minimum GPA of 2.75
3. Having a certificate of Fellow of The Society of Actuaris of Indonesia (FSAI) and the Indonesia Life Insurance Experts (AAIJ), as evidenced by relevant certificates.
4. Having at least 3 years work experience in insurance / actuarial or banking as evidenced by a Certificate of Work Experience from relevant agencies.
5. Mastering English is active with a minimum TOEFL 450, TOEFL as evidenced by a certificate from the competent institutions.
1. Male / Female, provided that:
1. Inexperienced:
* Not married, not to have children, and would not get married for 2 years.
* Maximum age 28 years on August 31, 2011, as evidenced by the Certificate / Birth Letter from the authorities.
2. Minimum 2 years in the same plane:
* Married / not married.
* Age maximum 30 years on August 31, 2011, as evidenced by the Certificate / Birth Letter from the authorities.
2. Minimum bachelor degree (S1) Informatics, with a minimum GPA of 2.75
3. Mastering Database administration (Oracle, SQL Server)
4. Mastering the PL / SQL Programming
5. Mastering Unix Operating Systems / Linux / Windows Server
6. Mastering English is active with a minimum TOEFL 450, TOEFL as evidenced by a certificate from the competent institutions.
7. Experienced preferred
